Ocala, Florida — Ocala Police are searching for two black males that robbed and shot two people at a local business.
At 11:59 p.m. on November 30, 2013 two black men dressed all in black and wearing hoodies entered the Alpha Barbershop Hair Studio at 1524 North Magnolia Avenue, (which is a 24-hour business) armed with revolvers. The men ordered the victims to lay on the floor.
The robbers shot one of the victims in the chest and arm and the other was shot in the back.
The robbers demanded money from one of the victims and according to the victim one of the robbers said, “empty your pockets, give me your money.” The victim produced a $1000 in cash from his pocket as well as a cell phone that the robbers got away with.
The suspects are described as two black males, early 20’s, about 5’8″ tall, with close cut hair. One of the suspects was wearing a necklace with circular diamonds on it.
The suspects did not touch anything within the business.
It is unclear if the two victims were singled out or if it was a random robbery.
Both victims are recovering from their gunshot wounds.
