Ocala, Florida — The U.S. National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement effective until Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 6:15 a.m.
High pressure will build in from the north tonight.
Clear skies, light winds, and dry air will result in optimal radiational cooling.
Temperatures will fall to their coolest levels since Spring with low temperatures in the lower to mid 60’s inland.
Expect lows closer to the coast and near the Saint Johns River to be in the upper 60’s to around 70 degrees.
Record low temperatures will be possible in Jacksonville, Gainesville, and Alma.
