Gov. Ron DeSantis declared a state of emergency as residents on the east coast of Florida prepare Hurricane Dorian.
According to Accuweather, the latest forecast shows the storm making landfall early Monday somewhere along the Florida or Georgia coast.
At approximately 5 p.m., the National Hurricane Center reported Dorian to be 45 miles from St. Thomas and moving northwest at 14 mph.
Right now, the storm has winds of 80 mph.
