Ocala, Florida — The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a homicide that occurred on Monday.
According to a press release, at approximately 4:00 p.m., MCSO deputies responded to 4125 Northwest U.S. Highway 225A, Ocala, in reference to a homicide.
When deputies arrived on scene, they learned that a family member had discovered the victim, Tamara Bedenbaugh, 57, deceased inside her residence.
A short time later, MCSO major crimes detectives and evidence technicians arrived and began their investigation.
Detectives said they will be collecting evidence and interviewing those closest to the victim.
Detectives are still in the preliminary stages of their investigation and any and all information could help solve this case.
